Siwi Site View

The Siwi people have developed 'activities' on the Ash Plain adjacent to the north side of Yasur Volcano:
  • Viewing Platform - for majestic photos of the volcano and surrounding Ash Plain and red rock formations;
  • Custom story about the formation of the volcano, demonstration of making fire the custom way;
  • Siwi Waterfall (flows from November to April - depending on rainfall);
  • Skiing down the side of the volcano on custom skiis (visitors are invited to try them out!);;
  • Horse races across the Ash Plain (Friday afternoons only);
